We welcome you to join us for a wonderful morning of Photography at the PASS Summit 2012.   IF you are unclear about what a photowalk is you can check out this post.  http://sqlasylum.wordpress.com/2011/09/25/pass-2011-photowalk/.   A few key points to remember.  

1.  No skill level is required.  Whether you are picking up a camera for the first time or have taken some of the greatest photo's of all time.  Regardless of skill level we want you!  

2.  No you don't need a fancy camera.   A camera is all that is required,  whether that be pinhole, cell phone or DSLR.  Again this about enjoying other #sqlfamily company and seeing the world around you.  

3.  The Agenda/time/location is very loose.  We will get started in a certain spot and we will go to a certain area,  after that you  can choose your own path.  

We will be heading out from the Sheraton lobby at 8:00 a.m, If anyone would like to get some early breakfast or cofee contact me directly as i'll be heading down at 7:00 to get a pastry before the walk.  We will do a quick group shot probably at the lobby at 8 and then head down to pikes place.   Once at pikes place you are welcome to explore and take pictures where you want.   I will have to return to the conference center by 9:30 for a SQL Saturday meeting but the group can go on and keep taking photos.  I also suggest picking up some lunch in the market Pikes place is one of the most diverse places you'll see for food and items it's truly a wonder to see soo many interesting things in one place make sure you try and see as much as possible.  :)  

You don't need to officially register at this event but if you do it will make it a lot easier for me to know how many people are coming and how long i should wait at the lobby.   This walk will go on regardless of weather since Pikes place is covered and you can easily walk around even if it's raining out.
